I JUST FOUND A TICK ON MY LEG WHAT THE HECK
They’d just gotten in a huge fight.
It started with something stupid, Harry forgot to turn off the television and he forgot that the buzzing drives Louis crazy and it annoyed Louis and he’d told Harry so. And then Louis was shouting and Harry was shouting back and it went from the television to the way Harry doesn’t make the bed in the morning and leaves dishes in the sink and the cupboards opened and Louis always does the cleaning up and he’s just tired. Tired of coming home to a place where he does everything and gets nothing. Harry doesn’t know what to say, or do, or feel, he just knows he doesn’t want this. This, Louis being mad at him. He didn’t realize he had such a profound effect. Of course he can wash up the dishes, of course he can make the bed. Of course. Anything for Louis.
After a few hours of Harry staring at the walls in his room and Louis turning the television on and off in the living room, Harry comes out and puts tea on the stove, taking extra care to close the cupboard softly. The teapot whistles and he pours a mug for Louis. He empties the little bit of water left into the sink and washes out the pot and puts it away. Gently, he picks up the cup and carries it to Louis, who is trying hard not to notice Harry’s effort and trying hard to ignore the nagging feeling inside that’s telling him he loves the sheets mussed. Harry hands the cup to Louis and smiles, that heartbreaking smile that says I’m sorry and I love you and I promise and I will.
It’s a few days before it appears in the paper. Just two lines. Harry’s waiting for the bread to crisp when he sees it.
Thank you Styles for making me egg on toast every day.

and you feel like falling down
I’ll carry you home tonight” [Fun.]
